Uknown Pov
"s**t, she can't know about us yet!" The red headed man hissed into the darkness. The darkness just chuckled back and said, "Calm down mutt, she'll know when I want her to know." "For now we keep her controlled and keep that witch away!" "Her powers are impressive for such a young age." The red head growled "That's my daughter!" The darkness transformed quickly almost within a blink of an eye into a man with pitch black hair and glowing green eyes. He reached out and gripped the mans' neck squeezing it and hissed, "Now, Now, Artie, remember our deal." The red head now named Artie slumped his shoulders his canines retreating his breathing labored "You do as I say and get eyes and ears around the castle and you will get your precious filthy wife back." "And my daughter?" Artie choked out. The man dropped Artie into a heap onto the cave floor. "Of course." He smiled like the Cheshire cat and laughed so low and full of evil it sent a chill down Artie's spine. "You'll have your precious daughter back." He walked out of the cave and disappeared into thin air. Artie ran to the edge of the cave mouth and shifted into his fire engine red wolf and looked up at the moon and howled a deep mournful howl. He raced too the castle and shifted at the edge of the territory along the trees he climbed to the edge just above the kingdoms walls and slipped through the trap door put in by the treacherous rogue alpha and watched Luna Evealine and his daughter.
Luna Evealine POV
I had fallen asleep with my daughter snuggled safely in my arms, when I heard the howl, the howl of a broken werewolf and I knew it was Artie. Art as I liked to call him. I got up out of bed slowly trying not to wake Sarah. Tears welled up in my eyes as I looked out the window as he let out another mournful howl. “Oh my sweet Artie.” I whispered softly. A deep dark chuckle rang through the room and I jumped and gasped as I looked at my daughter her eyes pitch black and they seemed to glow. “You hybrid’s are so stupid.” The voice coming from my daughter hissed out. I growled softly “Alistar.” I looked away and glared out the window. “What do you want?” He chuckled again “The plan is working. But you can’t let Lucas’s boy find his mate.” “His mate?” I asked finally turning to the voice coming out of my daughter. My daughter growled, “Yes! His mate! The one he’s been searching for!” “She’s a powerful priestess witch!” I gasped. I trembled with anger ‘the b***h who stole my book!’ I thought. Alistar snarled “I know she stole the book and you have done NOTHING to get it back!” I was shaking “H-How did you know?” I whispered. Alistar jumped out of bed using Sarah’s body and slammed me against the window cracking it with such powerful i whimpered. “I HAVE EYES AND EARS EVERYWHERE! REMEMBER THAT THE NEXT TIME YOU SLACK OFF EVA!” Sarah’s body went slack as Alistar’s presence left her body. I caught her before she hit the floor. “Oh my baby.” I whimpered. She opened her bright purple eyes and smiled at me “Mommy the voice in my head said that the nice witch will help me with my powers.” I gasped at that and smiled softly “Yes she will hunny, yes she will.”
Artie’s POV
I watched from the floor vent holes as that bastard Alistar communicated through my daughter like his own personal meat puppet. My poor daughter. A tear slipped down my cheek and I growled lowly it was time for revenge. I was done with Alistar and his mind games. My beautiful mate looked up from the floor and sniffed and gently put our daughter back to bed and came to the vent. “Art! You cannot be here..what if Lucas finds out?!” She hissed. “He won’t Mi Amor. I promise. I masked my scent I know Alistar was here.” Evealine sat back and sniffed “What are we going to do?” “Take him down with the help of that witch.” “You know of her?” “He mentioned her once and I knew he’d come to you she’s Sam’s mate?” Evealine only nodded and sniffed, “The coven she belongs to, they have my book.” “She took it about a week ago and I’m scared now. Sarah doesn’t even need it anymore. She’s so strong!” Artie’s chest filled with pride as he glanced at his sleeping daughter. “I know, I’ve been keeping tabs as much as I can. Alistar is working me to the bone to get the army together.” Evealine gasped then sniffed the air. “Go now! I smell Sam!” Artie growled in frustration but reluctantly left them and went back into the forest. Evealine got up quickly and sat back onto the edge of the bed wiping her tears. The knock at the door was soft she almost didn’t hear it. “Come in.” She said softly. Sam opened the door eyes blazing with anger from his earlier conversation with Evealine. He stopped short seeing her tear stained face and how pale and frail she looked. “Mom?” He asked. Evealine flinched when he said that and looked up. “S-sorry” she whispered looking away she stood “Let’s go talk somewhere else.” “I’ve been distracted.”
