Darny Eugene's step mom comes to Nora's house as the two families are really close to each other not because of Eugene and Athena but Darny's husband, Eugene's father and Mr.Walton were bestest friends. So Nora and Darny are also best friends. Nora makes dinner for her husband. Darny comes to join them and makes Pizza for everyone.

"By the way, Nora" Darny says and Nora replies in hmm.

"Did Athena know how to cook? Lest it be so that I fix the relation of my son with her just to see her mother and the daughter didn't know anything" Darny jokingly says.

"Nevermind. When your fool son will get settled in his life till then my daughter will learn everything" Nora says while giving her husband food.

"Darny! What I think is that our kids didn't handle this. Why not? We fix their relationship" Mr.Walton says.

"If it's in my hand then I will fix their relationship long ago but you know that the relationship between me and Eugene isn't healthy" Darny says and seems upset.

Mr.Walton hinted at Nora and she hugs Darny with a bright smile.

"Nevermind Darny. We aren't disappearing anywhere. Take your time" Nora says to enlighten Darny's mood.

"But make sure about one thing that the friendship which turned into love in my daughter's heart. She will be broken if Eugene will not love her back" Mr.Walton worryingly says.

On the other hand, Athena entered Mara's office and Eugene kept making a face to stop her from spilling the truth of the elevator in front of Mara. While Athena is acting and making a face to tease him as she is about to tell Mara his truth. She gives Mara his case file and they have a lil bit of conversation about the case.

Eugene controls a lot and then finally gets up while stretching and goes to Mara's office and asks her for permission.

"Mm…!! Peon says you called me. Will you??" Eugene makes an excuse and lies.

"Hi…!!" Eugene formally greets Athena as he never knows her as well as Athena did.

"Mara, I want to talk to you," Eugene says in a low voice.

"Yes, Eugene!" Mara says while looking at him.

"I want to be with you in private, not in front of strangers," Eugene says while looking at Athena, who is just fiercely looking at him.

"She isn't a stranger. She is doing work for me" Mara says and Athena shows her tongue to tease Eugene.

They both choked on their saliva when Mia asked "Did he like this from before or just changed now?"

Athena looks at Mara with wide eyes as well as Eugene.

"You know each other, right? From when??" Mara asks while Athena nods.

"F… from c… childhood…!" Eugene and Athena say while stuttering.

"I… I mean we go to the same school, same college…!" Athena says while Mara cuts her off "Now same workplace, huh?"

Athena and Eugene nod.

"Your friendship will not come in my way of work, understand?" Mara says.

"Yes…!" Eugene and Athena say.

"Actually! Our friendship never comes in your way of work and nothing and no one comes in between our friendship" Eugene says while smiling at Athena who is already smiling seeing him.

While Mara feels jealous and looks at them and says "Good! And I'll talk about this to Mr.Mandas."

Then Athena gets up and about to leave when Eugene wraps her hand around Athena's shoulder and they leave Mara's office while smiling at each other's random talks. Meanwhile someone is looking at them with fierce eyes. Eugene takes Athena towards the canteen while they are about to collide with an employee because they are lost in each other then Eugene lifts their hands and the employee passes them by ducking down their hands.

While Mara gets up and looks at them with fierce eyes. Then they go to the cafeteria and chuckle there. Mara secretly looked at them while using her phone to cover herself in the cafeteria. Then Eugene shows her his office and takes her to his cabin and Mara, looking at them, stands on the way to Eugene's cabin while covering her face with a magazine and the saga continues until Eugene and Mara leave the office. Mara feels jealous and angry while looking at Eugene and Athena goofing and playing around together in her office, in front of her eyes. She calls Mandas and says "I want to talk to you about Athena."

Then Athena and Eugene come in an elevator to leave the office.

"You know what, you lost your chance with Mara, haha…!" Eugene says while teasingly laughs at Athena.

"I'm the one who makes my own chances. Now I'm going to tell her the truth" Athena says and about to go when Eugene moves his leg in front of her and she falls on her butt in the elevator and Eugene presses the elevator's ground button while smirking.

"Why didn't you save me Dumbass??" Athena asks while hitting Eugene's legs.

"Why, I should save you? Your friend is Mara Penelope so tell her to save you" Eugene says while smiling.

"You took the whole day and still didn't say sorry to her, What a coward!" Athena says while fixing her clothes.

"Hey! I'm not a coward" Eugene says in a loud voice.

"Coward! Coward! Eugene is a coward!!" Athena starts to irritate Eugene.

"Hey! I'm the one who will make six if I will get a chance" Eugene says while holding one of Athena's file papers.

"Oh!! So if God gives you a chance you will make a six, right?" Athena asks.

"Yes, my friend you got it" Eugene proudly says.

"Then tomorrow is Mara's birthday and it's a great chance to say her sorry" Athena says.

"How would you know, Boo?? Your relationship with her is getting romantic, huh??" Eugene starts teasing him.

"Dumbo! From your face you look down" Athena says.

Eugene looks at Athena and then looks down and says "Woah! Woah! Boo…! You need a boyfriend, what are you saying? I'm your best friend" Eugene says and Athena understands that he took her words wrong and then pushes Eugene and hovers over him.

"What the hell! Pervert! How could you do this to your best friend?" Athena says while hitting Eugene and then forgets that elevator reached the ground and an old couple looking at them with wide eyes.

Then Eugene starts acting "Save me. She wants to r**e me" Eugene shouts in front of an old couple who are just smiling looking at them.

"This generation is too much. Nice couple, ``the old couple says.

Then Athena gets up and goes outside in irritation. While Eugene greets an old couple and says "You know Mara Penelope was also born" then he leaves the old couple dumbfounded.

"Romantic couples like us," an old man says while his wife blushing and says, "God bless them both with evil eyes."

At night, Mara comes to her house while lost in deep thoughts about Eugene and her interaction in the bathroom. She sits down on the couch without noticing her mom who is working in the kitchen and she is holding and rubbing her wrist which Eugene held in the bathroom. Mara's mom Izabella noticed Mara. She comes to Mara and back hugs her which makes Mara flinch and come back from her thoughts.

"What happened honey?? Are you sick??" Izabella says.

"No, I'm okay," Mara says.

"Didn't you notice anything? I made your favorite food and decorated the dining table for you, honey?" Izabella says while pouting.

"Oh, sorry mom! Come let's eat dinner" Mara says and drags her mother towards the dining table.

Then Izabella makes Mara sit and tell her about her favorite dishes she made today.

"But all these for what?? Is today any special thing?" Mara innocently asks.

Izabella gives Mara an upsetting look and then says nothing and lights the candle which makes her remember Eugene's face again and again.

Then without telling Mara anything Izabella offers her food. They ate their dinner and Mara went to her room. She changed and came outside. She knows it's her birthday tomorrow and she hates her birthday and never celebrates her birthday with anyone. She comes towards a painting of a little girl with balloons and sits on the cycle. She remembers her 9th birthday when his father threw a party for her and took an ice cake decorated with pink cream towards Mara while he was singing a song "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR MARA HONEY. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU" these sounds of her father now creeps the s**t out of Mara. With cake he let Mara cut the cake and then splashed all the cake on Mara's face in front of everyone. That day her father beated Mara's mom and locked her in a dark room. Mara comes back from her thoughts. After her 9th birthday's incident she hate her birthday and cake it reminds her of her father's torture. She angrily looks at the photo and tilts her neck like a psycho. When suddenly her house bell rings. She flinched at the sudden sound. Then come out from her room. Izabella also comes out when Mia stops her and says "I'LL CHECK."

Then Mara goes towards her door while furrowing and then takes a look outside from the hole of the door and she sees a cake in which Happy birthday written on with candles. Mara becomes angry after seeing the cake and opens the door in anger. Then she startled badly after seeing her father Mr.Penelope in front of her with cake…!!!

"MARA DEAR…!!!"
