Mara Accept Her Love For Eugene.

Mara Penelope comes home lost in thoughts of Eugene's wallet and Athena's and Eugene's photograph on Eugene's wallet. She sits on the couch and keeps thinking about Athena and Eugene with anger in her face. Izabella comes with a lot of questions "Mara! I called your office because there was a thunderstorm outside. But they said you already left 2 hours ago but you came now. Is everything okay honey? Did your car stop because of rain so that you are late?" Izabella asks.
"N… nothing mom! I will go and change first" Mara says and leaves to her room while she didn't realize that because of her touch her bag fell on the floor andthe wallet sneaked out from her bag.
Izabella sees the wallet but because of Mara's fear she puts the wallet back in her bag and puts her bag on the couch.
"Man's wallet in Mara's bag, that's kinda strange and rare. Why do I feel like that wallet belongs to Eugene?" Izabella says and smiles internally.
After dinner Mara is in her room thinking about Athena and Eugene, their moments in office and then that photograph on Eugene's wallet. Meanwhile Izabella comes with dumplings and coffee.
"Mara!!" Izabella says but Mara is lost in thoughts of Eugene and Athena.
"Mara dear!!" Izabella again says but no response.
"Mara…!!" Izabella shouts, which makes Mara come to reality.
"Yes!!" Mara asks. "I called you many times honey but you were lost in your thoughts" Izabella says.
"Nothing!" Mara says while sitting properly.
"Dumplings for you" Izabella says and moves dumplings towards Mara.
Mara looks at dumplings and then she remembers what Eugene said.
"You know eating dumplings in the rain is quite refreshing and good for our mood," Izabella says.
"Thanks!" Mara says with a bright smile.
"You know what Mara, the joy of getting wet in the rain is different. When I was a child I still remembered how I enjoyed the rain. You should have to try this sometime" Izabella says with excitement on her face.
Again memories of Eugene in rain keep travelling in Mara's mind.
"Cool breezes and drops of rain. Hot dumplings, beer, romantic songs, and full enjoyment. You have to try this, Mara it feels good I swear" Izabella says with a smile.
Mara shrugged it off and said "I haven't time for these things" Mara says like a boomer.
"But you haven't time for anything, you keep yourself busy in the office. Sometimes we have to give time to ourselves, to those who we value in our life. Lights of life only come when we have courage to open that door we closed by our own hands. There is always darkness in closed doors" Izabella spills the facts.
Mara looked at her mom "Honey try to open your heart for love. Let the colors of the rainbow come into your life. Honey, try to live your life!" Izabella calmly says.
"Didn't I live my life?" Mara asks.
"Honey! You are alive. We all are alive. But there are only a few people who live their lives. Baby, let anyone give a chance so that he teaches you how to live!" Izabella trying to explain Mara.
"I don't need anyone in my life," Mara says.
"Life is so long Mara. You will become tired while living alone" Izabella says.
"We all live alone, mom. And no one knows, when? Who will leave us? Mom! You also start your life with someone. Where is he now?" Mara taunts Izabella about Penelope.
"If you live with others' support, you will not go too far. And a time comes when your steps will stumble and make you fall. Love, Relationship and faith, that's all are the other names of weakness and I don't want to be weak like you and others" Mara coldly says.
"But it's not necessary that the mistake I made you will also repeat that. I chose the wrong person, a selfish person. I loved someone who didn't deserve any love. But when you get someone who only loves you. The one who is your support system and fights with the world for you" Izabella sas and Mara remembers how Eugene was on her side when Penelope came to her.
"The one who will only go crazy in your love madness. Then that love and faith becomes your strength not weakness" Izabella says and Mara lost in Eugene's thoughts.
"Mara! Give Eugene a chance!!" Izabella says and Mara shockingly looks at Izabella as how did she know about her feelings towards Eugene.
"Mara! He fought with your dad to save you" Izabella says and Mara looks at her mom in anger and gets up.
"I told you to not meet him. But you still met him" Mara says in anger.
"No…! Honey! I didn't meet him, he came to me and nagged about a boy beated him to save you" Izabella says while panicking.
"I was right. Eugene was the one who saved you, right?" Izabella asks and Mara just nods in anger.
"Mara to jump in other's problems and solve them requires so much courage, and Eugene has that courage. To come to the 16th floor through pipes for other employees requires courage and Eugene has that courage. To talk to with ego, attitude and disrespect. To say the truth while looking in your eyes requires courage and he has that courage Mara" Izabella praises Eugene.
"Mom! Eugene works for me" Mara raised her voice a little.
"So let his magic work on you, Mara. Give him a chance, Mara. He is a good boy, I like him" Izabella says.
"And like your choice never proves wrong" Mara taunts and about to leave.
"My choice proved wrong but not yours Mara. When you give Eugene permission that he after disrespect you come to your office for work so you literally saw something in him, right!!" Izabella says and Mara smiles and blushing.
Izabella saw Mara smiles and blushing in the mirror. But when Mara looks up in the mirror and sees her mom smiles she leaves while blushing.
"Jesus! Please also give her a destination because she is lost in storms for a long time" Izabella prays.
Mara comes outside and sees her bag and wallet on the couch and she becomes angry.
"Did you touch my bag mom??" She angrily says while glaring at Izabella.
"M… Mara! W… when you went to change you made your bag fall on the floor. So I picked up the bag and wallet and put it on the couch" Izabella said scaredly.
Mara gives her a death glare and walks to her room. Then she puts her bag on the table and holds the wallet in her hands and then sits in the swing in her room while caressing Eugene's wallet.
She crosses her legs on a swing and smiles to see Eugene's wallet. Then she opens it and picks that photograph out from Eugene's wallet. She glaring at Athena and tears coming from her eyes then she looks at the photograph like a psycho and puts that side of photograph in water where Athena stands and half of the photograph becomes wet and torn on it's own. When Athena's side photograph is torn then she smiles to see only Eugene and kisses the photograph. She keeps smiling and wipes her tears.
"I'll steal you from everyone. You will be only mine and mine!!" Mara says.
Mara sleeps while hugging Eugene's photograph.
The next day, Eugene comes early to the office from Mara and is proud of himself.
"She will never come on time and suck other's time and blood" Eugene says and then turn to his right side and have a mini heart attack to see Mara stand there.
"In my cabin right now" Mara says and leaves.
"She will give me a heart attack someday. Is she a ghost or human? Ugh!! My heart" Eugene says and starts over acting.
Eugene stomps his feet on the floor in frustration and goes to Mara's office.
Mara sits on her chair and Eugene looks at her while standing. Mara passes an envelope towards Eugene. Eugene and envelopes are the biggest enemies of each other. Eugene picks up the envelope and arches his eyebrow.
"Now what is this? Another termination letter. Do you have a bundle of termination letters? It seems like these aren't termination letters but mock tests of school that come whenever they want. I didn't accept this" Eugene says in frustration.
"OPEN THE ENVELOPE!!" Mara says while pressuring every word.
Eugene with a pissed face opened the envelope.
"My wallet!" Eugene says.
"It was left in my car," Mara says.
"Thanks. You know what, it's a special, very special gift for me. I was so worried about my wallet" Eugene says while smiling.
"Who cares about their special and precious things like this?" Mara taunts.
"Anyways, I have an important project for you, will you be able to complete it? Mara asks, still looking at her laptop.
"Sure. Why not!" Eugene says in excitement and sits on the chair.
"So what's the concept?" Eugene asks and Mara looks at him with sharp eyes.
Mara closed her laptop and put her face in her hand while resting her elbows on the table.
"One we want to make!! Something new" Mara softly says in a husky voice.
"Love…!!" Eugene says after thinking.
Mara and Eugene work on the project love. Will Mara be able to trap Eugene in her love…!!
