Employees insecurities

Mara shouts "EUGENE!!" which makes him come back from his thoughts.

"Y… yes! Mara I mean Ma'am" Eugene stutters.

"What do you say about this project Mr.Eugene?" Mara asks.

"This project left some spices" Eugene confidently with a cool posture says.

Everyone looks at him with wide eyes and then looks at Mia.

"What do you mean?? I personally suggested this idea" Mara says.

"B.. but" Eugene says and gets up from his chairs.

"If this shoot happens somewhere like ocean and island mixer vibes then this shoot becomes a success" Eugene says while everyone is wondering.

"Wow that was quite good" Mara's secretary Molly says but stops when she looks at Mara glaring at her.

"S… sorry m… ma'am" Molly says.

"Do you have to know your limits while speaking?" Mara coldly asks.

"Y… yes ma'am!" Mara says.

"Meeting decline" Mara says and leaves the meeting room.

"How rude is she??" Eugene says while making an annoying face.

Everyone gets back to their respective cabins.

"Boo!! Why are you calling me??" Eugene says and wants to attend her calls but Mara keeps staring at him.

Then Eugene nervously smiles and looks down to see his phone.

"If you will not come down then I'll come to your office right now" Athena message Eugene.

"What the hell, Boo!" Eugene cursed her in his mind.

"f**k off Mara!! Boo is more important to me" Eugene says and leaves the office to meet Athena.

She has already come to Eugene's office.

"Ah! My hunter queen, what do you want?? You literally make my rude boss fire me from this job. But I want this job you knew this" Eugene says in one breath.

"You are only concerned about your job and what about me?? I'll go to hell, right?" Athena says while pouting.

"Oh, Boo!! You are important to me, that's why I betrayed my boss to meet you. Now tell me what's wrong?" Eugene says while cupping Athena's face.

"Because of Mandas , my boss scolded me very rudely. I'm upset and you…! You only think about your rude boss" Athena pouts.

"Ok stop pouting like that. Tell me what you want??" Eugene asks.

"I just want our favorite burger," Athena replies.

"Hey! That is too far from here. Boo!! Please let's have some ice cream. Please…!!!" Eugene says while making puppy eyes.

"Stop your puppy eyes. Okay, fine let's have some ice cream. Then I'll take two" Athena says with a cute smile.

"Ugh!! Fine" Eugene says.

They went to a nearby ice cream parlour and Athena ordered ice cream. She finished her first ice cream quickly while she had some ice cream left on her side lips so Eugene leaned towards Athena and wiped her ice cream with his thumb and Athena internally blushed. Then she starts munching her ice cream slowly.

"Boo! Eat fast! My lunch time is already over and my boss will kill me if she does not see me in my cabin. Please have mercy on me" Eugene starts pleading.

"Fine. Go and I'll go home. Bye take care and good luck, fighting!!" Athena says and starts her scooty and leaves.

Eugene runs towards his office and he is 5 minute late. The lunch was over 5 minutes before. He sneakily goes to his cabin and sits so no one notices him and he becomes successful.

Then Mara ordered her employees to follow Eugene in his project and so Mara's secretary Molly gathered all the employees and told them what Mara ordered. As soon as they heard Mara's order to work with Eugene. They start begging to stop this or else they will be doomed.

Then Eugene gets up from his cabin and the peon of his office comes to tease him.

"Where are all the employees?? Why are they ignoring me??" Eugene asks.

"Because they believe the one who talks to you has to leave this job. In Short you are bad luck for all the employees who talked to you" peon says.

"And what about you?? You aren't scared of me. What if I eat your job also??" Eugene asks sarcastically.

"No, I have Jesus' blessings and the Bible with me. God will protect me from your curse" peon says and Eugene pushed him because he was pissed off by his words.

Then he comes to the main hall where Molly tells employees Mara's orders.

"Guys I have straws and the three who will choose short straws will work with Eugene in this project" Molly instructed.

"Why?? Weren't you able to decline this? Please Molly have some mercy on us" one of the employees says.

"Sorry we have no other choice" Molly says and everyone chooses their straws and then collects them together.

"So Rudolf, Luca and Dandy you chose short straws so the decision is clear you three have to assist Eugene in this project" Molly says while everyone including her sighs a breath of relief.

"No!!" Dandy says while kneeling down.

"I'm doomed," Luca says.

"I don't want this. Please God…!!" Rudolf says but cuts off when he receives a call from his house.

"Really?? Yes …!!" Rudolf says and hangs up the phone.

"What happened??" Molly asks.

"I survived. My wife gave birth to a baby girl and I have to go there and I was informed Ma'am about this earlier and she said when the baby is born I will take leave. Now God heard me and I'll go to the hospital so good luck brothers" Rudolf says and leaves the office while dancing at his win.

"Ahh!! Why God why??" Dandy says.

"Hey! Stop overreacting guys!!" Eugene says and everyone leaves except Dandy and Luca.

"Please don't eat our jobs" Luca begged.

"Hey! You both are over thinking. Come let's have fun!!" Eugene says and wrapped his arms around both of them shoulders.

On the other hand, Eugene's step mother seems worried. And Lucas feels that so he comes towards her to tease her.

"What happened mom??" Lucas asks.

"Nothing" she says.

"You want to talk about someone, huh??" Lucas asks.

"Why did I want to know about anyone??" She denies.

"I know you want to know about your loving son Eugene, right??" Lucas teasingly says.

"No. But still call him and ask if he eats food or not??" She advised me.

"Okay!" Lucas says and calls Eugene.

"Yes dumbo!!" Eugene says.

"You eat food properly, huh?? Are you comfortable there??" Lucas asks.

"Why do you sound like my mom, huh?? Who will be comfortable when the monster Mara is here to suck our blood?" Eugene says while Lucas bursts into laughter.

"Shut Up dumbo!" Eugene angrily says.

After some conversation Lucas ends the call and turns towards his mom.

"Oh so now you are satisfied, huh??" Lucas asks.

"What are you talking about??" She acts innocently.

"Oh please mom! Don't act like you don't care about him. I know now you feel good after hearing what he is doing in his office. You care about him alot and you love him alot even though you love him more than me" Lucas says while smiling.

"I think you told me you have some work to do" she tries to change the topic.

"Yes!! I'm about to take a shower" Lucas says.

"O M G! My son will be taking a shower. Ohh!! Today is a precious day because you are about to take a bath. I will distribute sweets to neighbours and will note down this day in my diary" she taunts.

"Stop taunting me, mom," Lucas whined.

"Oh really! My innocent messiest and dirtiest baby" she again teased him.

"Momma!! Stop!!" Lucas whining more.

"Actually I'm done with you. I'm going to take a bath" Lucas says and leaves while his mom chuckles.

When Lucas leaves she sighs deeply "How can I make him believe that I wasn't coming to steal his dad or I wanted to be his mom. I just wanted to give him love but he always saw me as his enemy or someone who didn't care for him or love him. But I do love him more than my own child. I wanted to fill his life with love and I will keep trying to achieve my place as his mom. One day he will call me mom and hug me" she says while wiping the tears falling from her eyes.

Eugene treats the two who chose to assist him in his new project and they somehow become close and the two employees slowly slowly indestructible Eugene's nature is very friendly and down to earth. And now they feel guilty because of what they thought about him, he is completely opposite for what they thought he is.

Mara becomes angry with Eugene for something…!!
