Eugene Helps Mara

After leaving office Eugene comes to his favorite open cafe near his office to drink coffee because his brain is already hot as hell.

Eugene blows the coffee because it's too hot and then places the mug on the table. Then he remembers everything about yesterday night at Mara's home and then Addison's blaming him. And then he is about to hold a mug without paying attention and his fingers dips in hot coffee.

"Damn…! F..k!" Eugene curses while bowing his fingers.

"Today's day is the worst. First Lucas then his mom, then Mara and then accused me in a wrong case, enough is enough!" Eugene says in frustration.

When he heard the sound of car horns coming towards him. Eugene knows whose car is this. He gets up and wears his glares and then stands in a cool way while resting his back on his car trunk and sipping his coffee with a cool attitude. Then the car's back window is sliding down and revealing Mara Penelope. She took off her glasses and opened the door to come out from her car.

"Ma'am street is covered with mud," the driver says.

Mara comes out while Eugene didn't even bother to look at her. She comes near Eugene with a stern face and her heels tripping because of mud which makes her feel dirty and Eugene smiling on her. She managed to come in front of Eugene who didn't bother to react and sipped his coffee calmly.

"By the way, you don't look like a one who easily gives up," Mara says.

"Apparently, I didn't see much of what everyone thought," Eugene savagely answered.

"Mr.Addison said that designs leaked from your laptop" Mara says.

"You knew everything about anything. When? What? Who sent where?" Eugene egotistically says.

"Yesterday you came to my house. Why wouldn't you say this in front of everyone?" Mara asks.

"Ms.Mara Penelope! I'm not only looking like a hero but I am a hero. And a hero will never trap any girl in his fight then whether she did so many things to trap the hero" Eugene spilled fire of words.

"I didn't do that," Mara says.

"Oh! That's supposed to be my dialogue, right?" Eugene says.

"Then prove that you didn't leak designs. Prove the truth" Mara says.

"Sorry!" Eugene says while stretching he didn't seem like he bothered from this but acted so carefree.

"I don't want to prove anything," Eugene says carefree.

"You will let accusations on yourself" Mara asks.

"You let the accusations on me, huh?? I don't want to prove anything if you want to prove then you will prove it by yourself" Eugene says while looking up from his glares and then he pays the bill. Then he gets in his car without looking at Mara. She feels helpless.

Then she comes towards Eugene's car and says "Come to the office!"

"Sorry! I haven't got a cab license yet , otherwise I'll drop you" Eugene savagely says.

"I want to know who wants to trap you?" Mara says.

"Who wants to trap me? That means you want to know who in your office wants to trap you, right?" Eugene corrects Mara and she grits her teeth in anger.

"I want your help" Mara says and Eugene takes his hand towards his ear "Sorry! I didn't hear." He starts to gear his car which makes sounds.

"I want your help" Mara says again Eugene did the same "Sorry I didn't hear."

Eugene smiles and Mara squeezes her lips in anger.

"I… want your he…!" Mara says but again Eugene teases her with car sounds.

She rolls her tongue on her cheeks which seems pissed off already.

"I need your help!" Mara says loudly but Eugene doesn't listen and makes noise.

"I need your help, p… please!!" Mara says and Eugene snaps as this time Mara said right.

"The moment I came from the 16th floor through pipes my ears caused problems now they have recovered" Eugene says with a smile.

"Hero always helps, right? Then will you not help me to remove all accusations on you?" Mara asks and Eugene just teasingly smiles at her while taking off his glasses.

At night Eugene comes in front of his office and is waiting for Mara to come. The guard is sleeping peacefully and Eugene is just making faces to see him sleep. Then Eugene sees his phone and remembers about Lucas.

"Why will I call first? He started the fight first" he says and put the phone back in the car.

Then Mara's car comes and he opens the door for Mara and makes a way for her. Mara cones in front of her office and sees her guard sleeping. She feels embarrassed. Then she tries to open the chain on the door but Eugene interrupts her.

"If this is that easy then theft will come daily" Eugene says and starts climbing on the gate of steel "What are you waiting for? We haven't a whole night come you have to climb on it" Eugene says while Mara sighs and opens the chan easily.

She opens the door on which Eugene is climbing and makes him surprised. Eugene looks at Mara who is smirking at his stupidity.

"Always ladies first!!" Eugene says while smiling and Mara enters the office then Eugene curses the door and follows Mara.

Mara walks fastly and her heels make sounds while Eugene stops her.

"Calm down! What if someone hears??" Eugene says.

"But there is no one in the office," Mara says.

"Yes! Exactly you are smarter than you look" Eugene says.

"But the one who did this if that person knows that there is someone else also here. Then you know what will happen? All proofs get clean from the spot. That's why we have to disappear" Eugene explains.

"What do you mean?" Mara asks.

"I meant this…!" Eugene says and turns off the lights which makes Mara flinch.

Mara having her phobia back and getting anxiety and panic attacks. Eugene turns and Mara holds his hand "P… please turn on the l… light. I have a f… fear of darkness" Mara stutters while still closing her eyes.

"Mara Penelope and give up on her eyes. You know what the fact is that eyes will see whatever heart lets her see and heart will see whatever he feels less. Is there any less darkness in your life??" Eugene calmly comforts her.

"Tell Mara??" Eugene added.

"Turn on the light!!" Mara says and Eugene opens the flashlight.

Mara quickly takes the phone in her hands and looks here and there.

"Come!!"Eugene says and they continue walking in their office.

Then Eugene's phone rings and Mara looks at his phone. It's Athena who is calling him. Mara becomes jealous and answers the call.

"Where are you Dumbass??" Athena asks.

"He is busy with me" Mara coldly says and ends the call.

"What, someone cut the call? A girl!! Eugene is with a girl, huh?" Athena worryingly says.

"Thank you, Jesus. That was a girl not a boy. Or I have doubt on your Dumbass" Becky says while washing his face.

"No one tells you to close your mouth when you wash your face," Athena says.

"Who said these idiotic logics?" Becky makes fun of Athena.

"Ugh! Get lost in the bathroom" Athena annoyingly says.

"And you stop worrying. Ignore him, don't give him attention. Let him fly" Becky says and leaves in the bathroom.

Eugene and Mara come towards her cabin.

"Shh! I told you to follow me" Eugene says in a low voice.

"Excuse me, I do not follow anyone" Mara sassily says and enters in her cabin.

She opened the door and tripped on the floor.

"That's why you fall everywhere" Eugene smirks.

Eugene then sits in Mara's chair and opens her laptop while Mara looks at him while crossing her arms.

"Password?? Because I have to see the CCTV footage from your laptop. I drank alcohol and you saw so then you also saw what people did in office, right? So please enter your password" Eugene says. "If you know that I will see this from my home then why did you do this??" Mara asks.

"Ms.Mara Penelope! You know what you sent me down from the 16th floor so I make you do some hard work too" Eugene says and teasingly smiles.

Mara clenching her jaws in anger then Eugene phone's starts ringing again Mara sees and it is Athena.

Eugene is about to pick up her call but Mara cuts off.

"You will be allowed to go anywhere before you finish my work," Mara says sternly.

"I was just looking," Eugene says while pouting.

Mara comes towards Eugene and bent down close to his face and starts putting her password. Her hair touches Eugene's face because of wind and he inhales Mara's hair smell affectionately. Then Mara looks at Eugene who is already looking at her. Their faces are so close to each other. Their eyes lock and Mara gets up in a panic while Eugene sneezes. Mara looks awkward.

"Which shampoo did you use? I got an allergy because of its smell" Eugene says while rubbing his nose.

"Will we do work, what are we here for?" Mara says with a poker face.

"Check out the CCTV footage" Mara says and Eugene nods.

"Yes please have a look" Eugene says while lil bit turning the laptop towards her.

Then Mara switches recording while Eugene is about to do something and their hands brush which makes the situation awkward again.

Then she played the camera towards Eugene's table. Time passes and Eugene yawns. He stretches back and about to fall from Mara's chair but he manages to save himself. Mara glares at him and he says sorry.

"Mara didn't you see this while fast forwarding, huh?" Eugene suggested.

"No. I want to see every moment, don't want to miss anything" Mara says and Eugene makes faces while copying her.

Then Eugene gets bored and he walks his finger on the table and grabs the crystal ball but Mara stops his hand and places the crystal ball back to its place. Then Eugene wants to do it again but Mara glares at him and he stops. After sometime he holds a landline phone and wraps the wire around his neck while playing and when looking up he sees Mara glaring at him so he places back the landline and Mara looking at him annoyingly she places back the phone and Eugene teasingly praising her with his expression. Then again Eugene's phone rings and it's Athena again. Both looking at Eugene's phone.

"Sorry! This call is very important" Eugene says and picks up the phone while coming out from Mara's cabin.

Then he looks back at Mara's cabin before picking up the call and sees Mara wiping the chair where he sat with tissue papers.

"What? She is cleaning the chair like it's her boyfriend" Eugene says and picks up the call.

"Yes Boo! Tell me!" Eugene says.

"What tell me? Did you collect assaulting money, huh?" Athena asks sternly.

"Where are you? Did you see what time it is? And who was that girl who cut my call? Athena asks.

"She was a blood sucker Mara Penelope, who else you thought?" Eugene says in an exhausting voice.

"What, Mara? You are with Mara at this time. Why didn't you call me back?" Athena asks.

"Boo! Don't fry my brain. I'm already exhausted. She keeps bugging on my head. I'll talk to you later" Eugene says.

"Fine. Now Mara is more important to you. You don't even have time to talk to me, Eugene. I have no value in your life. You know right that aunt came with a proposal to me" Athena nagged at him.

"Then go and see that boy. Will get married to him and then fry his brain, not mine. Okay, bye" Eugene says and cuts the call.

"Eugene…! Eu…!" Athena says but Eugene already cuts the call.

Eugene comes back to Mara's cabin and rests his shoulder on Mara's chair but it's going back so he immediately removes his hand and says sorry with his facial expressions.

Mara and Eugene find out who leaked designs…!!!
