Eugene Becomes Famous

Athena arrives at the venue and all the doors are closed. She called Eugene again and again but he didn't pick up.

Eugene gets ready and Mara comes to see him and smiles.

"Looking handsome, right?" Eugene asks.

"Yes!" Mara says while smiling.

"Ma'am! Everyone and the media came!" An employee informs Mara.

"Come!" Mara says and Eugene nods.

Athena is about to enter the venue when a guard stops him.

"Where are you going, madam? It's a private event, show me your invitation" guard sternly says.

"I have to go inside because it's my best friend's event and I have to give these clothes to him" Athena says and keeps arguing about going inside but guards keep stopping her.

Meanwhile Athena sneaks from the glass window and is shocked to see Eugene comes out and already dressed up.

"He was dressed up then why did he call me here?" Athena sulks but she gets tear up when she sees Mara Penelope come towards Eugene and hold his hand.

They both look perfect like a couple. Tears falling from Athena's eyes. Guard successfully stopped her but she shrugged it off.

"I have to go inside, it's my dumbass' first event and I have to join his special event" Athena thinks and sneakily goes inside the venue.

Athena successfully gets a view of the event but she is hurt to see Eugene and Mara this close.

Mara and Eugene come where everyone gathered. Media surrounded Mara and Eugene and clicked their snaps.

"Smile! You will be on the first page tomorrow" Mara says and they both smile while looking at each other.

They both come on stage and give some poses so that photographers click their photos. After some time, Mara goes towards the mic and starts her speech "Thank you so much for coming here. Mode Et Style usually break out designs every week but what's so special in this project that we want you to cover. The speciality of this project is Mr.Eugene Joel" Mara says while pointing at Eugene who smiles and Athena also smiles while hearing her love praises.

"His eyes wrote this story. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr.Eugene Joel" Mara says and everyone starts clapping.

Mara comes close to Eugene and whispers "World is waiting for you."

Eugene smiles but Athena smiles through pain but she shrugs it off her feelings and wipes her tears "No! It's your Eugene's big day" she thinks and controls her emotions.

Eugene takes a deep breath and goes towards the mic and starts speaking "Good evening everyone" he gasps and continues "I'm nervous, of course everyone gets nervous it's my first time doing this kind of stuff. But let's come to the point, some things we never see but feel and like this I tried to capture the craziness and obsession of someone. Let's see together I hope you will like this story boundless and immense" Eugene says and Mara blush.

"It's my life's best and most beautiful shoot ever" Eugene says and Mara smiles then he presses the button and the shoot photographs start displaying on screen.

Athena is shocked to see Mara's pictures, the dress on her hand falls on the floor and she starts crying. Everyone comes close to see the pictures and starts noticing it and doing their work. Meanwhile, Maa and Eugene keep looking at each other more like flirting with their eyes.

"I have something more to share…!" Eugene says and gets everyone's attention.

"Someone told me that she never loves love but she loves obsession, madness" Eugene says and Mara looks at him while smiling.

Athena starts crying while picking up Eugene's clothes, she hugs and loses her all hopes and is about to go when Eugene says "I was here because of one person" which makes Athena stop and smile a bit.

"The one who believed in me and showed full trust in me. The one who still has faith in me and the one who thought about me before the world. And that person is none other than…! Eugene says when the guard sees Athena and comes to throw her outside.

"I told you you can't come here. Are you coming or I will call the police?" Guard says.

"Wait! Listen! I told you that the event was for my best friend. He is the one who speaks with the media and everything he says is about me and he is about to announce my name. Wait a minute" Athena says and the guard sighs and gives her a minute.

"That person is Ms.Mara Penelope!" Eugene says Android Athena's hope and smiles drop.

She can't process what just happened. She is in total shock, hurt and disappointed. Mara blushes and Eugene smiles. Everyone starts clapping.

Athena about to fall but holds the wall. She didn't want to accept what Eugene said. She holds herself and runs from there while crying hard.

Eugene leaves the stage while thinking "Ah-uh!! Eugene Joel! You are too good at buttering someone. I told you Boo! I will become a great photographer and see where I am today. Boo!! Oh God I forgot her, where is she? She is about to come here with my clothes."

He is about to pick up his phone when Mara comes to her and he smiles. Then a photographer from a very big fashion magazine came towards them.

"Ma'am! Sir, I want one picture of both of you. Can you please come close?" Photographer says.

Mara holds Eugene's arms, Eugene feels a bit awkward and the photographer clicks the photo. Suddenly someone loudly says "Whose phone is this?"

Everyone look at her "It's mine!" Eugene replies and removes Mara's hand "One minute! I have to call Boo!" Eugene says and goes towards his phone leaving Mara in anger but she fake smiles because the photographers and media starts questioning her about Eugene and her all attention is on Eugene.

Eugene sees his phone "50 miscalls! You are doomed. What did you do?" Eugene cursed himself.

He calls Athena who is about to leave the venue, she wipes her tears and pick up his call.

"Sorry! Please sorry! I didn't know my phone wasn't with me. Sorry!" Eugene starts apologizing in one breath but Athena didn't say anything.

"You know what my condition was like Lucas, remember the night we found him naked" Eugene says so that Athena laughs.

"You are smiling, right? Never stop two things in life: smile and the girl who leaves you, sorry dude it wasn't my fault" Eugene says and Athena smiles with tears.

"It's okay! I saw you, you look fine" Athena says.

"Fine, seriously? I am looking hot as hell. And you know what is shocking in this event is Mara Penelope, the blood sucker holding my hand at all times. Sorry! These high class talks, how can a middle class girl understand, right?" Eugene teasingly says and Athena's smile drops.

"But how could you manage to see me?" Eugene asks.

"Actually in your high class party people like me weren't allowed. That guard didn't let me in. So I was sneakily looking at you" Athena says while tears flowing from her eyes like water fall and her voice crack a bit.

"What the hell, really? Who was the f#Cker, tell me the name?" Eugene asks angrily.

"No it's okay! Leave it Eugene! How could that guard know who I am?" Athena says.

"By the way, it's quite late. I 'll talk to you later, don't forget to come on the roof," Athena says and ends the call.

"Boo…!" Eugene tries to say but Athena ends the call.

"She sounds hurt!" Eugene says and gets lost in his thoughts when Mara can't hold herself more and comes to him.

"The world is waiting for you and you are here standing alone, is everything okay?" Mara says while hiding her jealousy.

"Yes! I am okay" Eugene says.

"Then come with me!" Mara says and again Eugene moves his arm towards Mara and she holds.

They drink champagne and enjoy the party after the event.

On the other hand, Athena cries all the way to her home and then she quietly goes to the roof. She wipes her tears.

"Stop flowing! Why are you flowing in my eyes like a Niagara fall? Why do you seem hurt? You know today you are going to make him yours" Athena says to calm herself.

Then she starts decorating the roof as she did when they were kids. She fixes a tent to sleep in, and decorate their E.A.L point with fairy lights. She makes the whole point as romantic as she can with roses, balloon. And light the scent candle to make the environment romantic. She makes Eugene's favourite pizza and covers it so it remains hot when he comes. She places the photographs of their childhood everywhere. And all the things of their childhood gifts, letters and things she keeps safe to herself. Her secret scrapbook but then she starts crying while thinking about what happened in the event.

"So his life's most important person is that Mara Penelope and you wasted your everything on him. I didn't realize when I became like this because I was busy doing his things and forgot about myself and never tried to love anyone or make other friends" Athena says and sobs while resting her head on her arms which are resting on her knees.

"Why are you thinking like that? He loves you and you are his best friend,he never lives without you" Athena says and wipes her tears and goes inside the tent because it's getting cold outside and almost past midnight.

She is waiting for Eugene while eating cup noodles because she didn't eat anything because she was busy arranging Eugene's clothes. Time starts passing and Athena keeps waiting for Eugene. It's 3am and he still hasn't come.

"Shall I go home? No…! He promised me he would come . Maybe he is on his way to here" Athena kept hoping and fell asleep while waiting for Eugene. Eugene didn't show up the whole night.

Eugene in the morning comes to the roof and finds Athena sleeping…!!
