I rang the doorbell and waited. After a few minutes passed by, Rohit opened the door, his eyes still glued on the television screen as I noticed Manav and a few other of his friends sitting on the couch and here and there in the hall.
Okay, so did I enter my house or a theater for live cricket?
"Six!" they all yelped suddenly, making me slip on the carpet and scream in fright.
But that didn't faze them. Why should it?
Cricket was all they needed to make their life complete.
The break came on as I made my way across and finally, some of them acknowledged my presence by smiling or waving.
"What's your plan tonight?" Rohit asked, out of a better thing to do.
"I am going for a slumber at a friend's house," I replied.
"Mom allowed?" he asked, confused.
