Alex POV I watched the door close behind Krystal and I sat back in my chair, but my mind was stuck on that text message and the way her face had turned white when I brought it up. I had spent the entire night staring at her phone until the battery died, and every time I thought about that "I miss you" message, I felt a hot surge of anger that I couldn't control.
