As we go outside the hotel, we are amazed to see all the humans outside. They look sick as if they are animals and not humans anymore. They respond like predators. As Bianca and I stand their we scream hard at them. They turn to us and start running after us. We are much faster than them, and they can not catch up with us. We make sure to lead them far away from the town, ensuring that Deacon and Daniela can get the young people and children out of the city as soon as they are far away from town. We run away far enough for them not to hear or see us anymore, and we watch them. They start moving back to the town as if they can only remember the place they lived in.
