ALLISON'S POV I went to the deepest corner of the cell and sank to the floor with tears in my eyes. I hugged my knees to my chest as I thought of everything that happened. The darkness pressed in on me, suffocating me. My heart thudded painfully. The dull ache in my chest spread to other parts of my body as more tears slid silently down my cheeks. It was unbelievable that I was here, locked away like a criminal. I never thought things would turn out this way. Not after everything I’d done, everything I’d risked.
