ALLEN'S POV The grand ball was in full swing. Everything was going great so far. The decorations were perfect. The food kept coming. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Couples danced gracefully on the dance floor. Laughter and clinking of glasses echoed around me. My eyes wandered over the crowd of people. Somewhere deep within, I cursed myself for looking.
