ALLISON’S POV
I stood under the warm water, letting it wash away the sweat on my body from my training. It felt heavenly, and for a moment, I forgot about how tired I was. But as I turned off the faucet and stepped out of the shower, I heard a knock on the door.
I quickly wrapped myself in a robe, wondering who it could be.
"Come in," I called out, trying to sound calm.
The door creaked open, and to my surprise, Queen Mother Leona walked in. I bowed my head, greeting her with a smile. She responded with a warm smile of her own. Her eyes had her usual glint of kindness in them.
