ALLEN’S POV The bass from the music at Club Eden was so loud it felt like it was pulsing through my veins. The air reeked of sweat, alcohol, and desperation. My jaw clenched as I stepped through the doors, with Allison just behind me. The neon lights flickered, illuminating the crowd that moved to the beat on the dance floor.
