ALLISON’S POV The three of us were having much fun than I imagined. Alex and Allen sat on either side of me. Their presence was both calming and magnetic in a way I couldn’t quite describe. “So, let me get this straight,” Alex said. His lips twitched as he tried to suppress a grin. “You really thought putting the flour in first would make it less messy?” I burst into laughter. My hand flew to my mouth as I remembered the chaos from earlier. “Hey, in my defense, I thought it would work! How was I supposed to know it would explode everywhere like that?” Allen shook his head, chuckling softly. “You didn’t just make a mess, Allison. You turned the entire kitchen into a snowstorm.
