ALEX'S POV The scent of blood lingered in the air even as I pulled my shirt collar back for a better look. Brady. The name alone made my jaw clench. I had no regrets about what I did. There wasn’t room for mercy when it came to men like him. When I’d heard he was out, I knew it had to be me who handled it. No one else. Now, I could rest knowing he wouldn’t hurt another girl again. I turned on the faucet and washed off the blood on my collar. I watched the water mix with the faint red as I scrubbed the stain away.
