Chapter 16: Seconds before GoodbyeLiam felt a soft kiss on his forehead as his human heater untangled himself from their blanket-burrito. Then the noise of bathroom doors opening and closing. Liam kept himself on the verge of sleep by listening to the sound of Milo’s morning routine. Soon enough he felt another kiss on top of his head and Milo left for his morning run.
Like he had for the past month, Liam stayed in bed for a while, but this time he decided to be more productive than usual. He called downstairs and ordered food to their room, a treat they didn’t indulge in often. As he waited for the room service he wondered when they started sleeping in the same bed. His small breakdown had happened about two weeks ago and they’d grown more comfortable with each other. Liam had no relapse
