Chapter 23: BalanceIt wasn’t weird, not in a way it should’ve been. The three of them lived together for a week. Somewhere in a rush of everyday life, of trying to bring everything back to normal, they established a new routine and in this new routine, they somehow forgot to talk.
Maybe it was because they craved stability so badly that they hid behind a fog of denial. Milo didn’t say why he didn’t live with his parents anymore. Jasper didn’t talk to Liam and Liam didn’t talk to Jasper, not like they should. Or maybe it was because they were so busy with trying to get the scrambles of their lives together. For whatever reason, the three of them coexisted in a small space of a flat.
