Chapter 14: PivotRight after the unfortunate call, Liam walked down the beach, led by street lights. He wasn’t sure where he headed. He felt pulsing in his head and he swayed lightly, all of this was caused by the energy thrumming right under his skin. He wanted to dance, move, drink, cry, laugh, f**k. Anything to get rid of this buzz from his mind that made it foggy. He wasn’t stupid, he knew what it meant. His mind wanted to shut out the hurting and fall into impulsiveness that brought pleasure. It happened before. He indulged in his guilty pleasures and found nothing but ashes as he came back to the normal world. He stopped walking as he realized this wasn’t what he wanted. He tried so hard to be okay. He took his pills and did all the things a capable member of a society should do. H
