“Won’t you be too cold?” asked Chloe anxiously.
“Oh, no way,” replied Blair confidently. “We’ll keep each other warm!” Amanda giggled and turned her eyes away from her best friend.
As Tyrell and Chloe sat in the booth waiting for their order, Chloe tried to keep her mind off Amanda but found it difficult. “Hey, are you with me?” Tyrell asked jokingly. He noticed Chloe was staring off into space.
“I’m sorry, Ty.” Chloe hesitated. She didn’t know if she should bring up what was bothering her. She didn’t want to spoil the night.
