Each One of You Matters
The remainder of the week flew by. Chloe and Amanda were busy with Spanish homework, cramming for last-minute yearbook deadlines, and keeping up with all their other assignments. Tyrell and Chloe were still keeping their watchful eye on Amanda, making sure she was not alone during the school day. At times, Amanda joked about her personal entourage, but secretly she appreciated their constant support and companionship. And although Amanda seemed a bit more herself since the girls’ meeting, she remained extremely guarded around the kids at school and very quiet in class, unless she was called upon by her teachers. Chloe knew this was a good thing. Amanda was moving ahead slowly, taking the time she needed to take care of herself.
