I still can’t believe I’m actually going to a pack house. My wolf seems happy, wagging her tail, but I’m still not sure if they are people I can trust. I have been through so much in my life so far, and I don’t know if I have the courage to trust someone or another pack again.
I should have been able to trust my parent’s pack, but I was sadly mistaken. They didn’t have any issues with female betas, but since my second gender is omega, they thought I was cursed and would bring trouble to the pack. I have never figured out how being an omega would bring trouble to the pack, but they believe it, and that is all that matters.
From the back seat, I glance forward at Bridget and then at Ford, who are both sitting in the front, while I sink further down into the seat.
