Idella silently watched Tarek enter their bedroom a little after two in the morning. She rolled onto her side, and when he exited the bathroom a short time later, her gaze followed him in the dim light. Her heart did that little dance it did whenever she saw him. “I missed you today,” she murmured. He stopped, and she pulled the covers back for him. He pulled the towel from his waist and tossed it onto a chair. Her breath caught. When he climbed into bed, she curled up against his side and slid her hand down along his hip. “I didn’t mean to wake you,” he said, wrapping his arms around her.
