Lena tilted her head back, almost inviting Daniel to kiss her.
His eyes darkened instantly.
"Are you trying to seduce me?"
As he spoke, he suddenly tightened his grip, pulling her against him.
Pressed against his chest, Lena felt the same trapped feeling she had in the car.
The dim room and the oppressive air made Lena's breathing quicken.
She frowned and looked at Daniel warily, his features even more defined in the dim light.
Feeling uneasy, Lena was thinking of a way to escape when Daniel made a surprising move.
He lifted the hem of her shirt, tracing the curve of her waist up to her spine, slowly moving upward along her back.
Without the barrier of clothing, his touch burned on her skin. As his hand reached the middle of her back, it was stopped by her shirt.
