By the time Lena finished training, her clothes were soaked through, and she looked like she had just been fished out of the water.
She was so weak that she could barely walk, so Daniel carried her out. In her extreme exhaustion, she didn't have the energy to worry about their close contact and even found his strong embrace comforting.
Back in her room, Daniel laid her gently on the bed and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
