I don't know when it started.
He was clearly an annoying bug and yet... before I knew it, he already planted his existence in my life and it was not easy to will myself to kick him out.
"Apple!"
That annoying nickname again. I am not a fruit.
I let out a breath and decided to ignore him. I bent my knee a little and continued to harvest the vegetables that my family has grown in our yard.
"Apple!" He shouted again and I ignored him... again.
He was at the fence looking over me but I didn't move to greet him. Seeing him would make me fluster and it's very hard to push that feeling down.
"Aldis! Come in young man. It's hot out there."
And here we go.
Damn that Aldis. Why does he have to scream everytime he comes here.
