Leah “Yeah, I’m not. Just… next time, maybe run the options by me first, okay?” I said before waving toward the doors. “Let’s just go in.” She nodded so quickly it was like she’d been waiting for the cue, adjusting the strap of her bag before following me. The doors opened for us silently as we approached and it made me feel like I was stepping into another universe. The porter trailed behind us with our luggage, as professional as the doormen who greeted us. Cool air kissed my skin the moment we entered.
