Salem waited eagerly by the front door, wagging his stub.
“Yes, he’s coming, boy.” Adrian had to admit he was a little excited himself. Ever since Geoff had left that morning, hours ago now, he’d thought of little else but of Geoff and how it all went. He opened the door, unable to help himself, grinning like a fool as Geoff made his way up the walkway from the garage.
“You know Gil’s bike is still here,” Geoff said by way of greeting.
Adrian blinked at that. “Uh. Yeah.”
Geoff smiled as he leaned over to kiss Adrian long and slow. “We probably ought to sell it or something. They’re dangerous.”
“Spoken like my good Dr. Spencer.”
“Hey, babe.” Geoff kissed him again, then crouched down to pet Salem. “Have a good day?”
