Tributes have been paid following the sudden death of Dr Martin Constantine, the renowned art critic and noted cultural expert who lived in Little Bassington for nearly 60 years.
Known for his flourishing oral and written style, Dr Constantine is understood to have suffered a heart attack at his home on Tuesday night. His body was discovered the following morning when he failed to attend a meeting of the village’s Art Group.
