When they got home that night and the reading of the Harry Potter chapter was complete, Jack was sent off to bed with the promise Tyler would be in to say good night after he talked with Eddie.
Tyler sat on the edge of Eddie’s bed. “You didn’t seem to be too excited about a sleepover at Grampa and Gramma’s.”
Eddie shrugged.
“It’ll be fun,” Tyler said, trying to convince Eddie. “Your grampa and I had some great times in that old tent of ours when I was a kid. He knows some great ghost stories. Scared the devil outta me.”
