Miya said,"But I heard she's coming to our school to study finance. I guess she's here for you."
"What?"
Roselyn was shocked.
Vanessa was coming to the University of Houston to study finance? How could that be?
Miya said,"It's true. I asked a friend in admissions. She was with the President and Vice President. Clearly, her family is rich. I guess she's using connections."
Angela was puzzled."Our school has many students from wealthy families. Do you know who she is?"
Miya shook her head."I don't know. But no one here, no matter how rich, has been personally received by the President and Vice President. It shows her background is special."
