The next day, after the election, Dr. Davis made a surprise visit to Lisa's home, his presence a welcome, despite the turmoil that had been brewing up inside her. He brought a gift but Lisa's gaze was captivated by the depth of his eyes, a boundless ocean of devotion that beckoned her to surrender. The secret scent of his perfume, a subtle blend of cedarwood wafted through the air, enveloping in her a sense of comfort. The aroma was like a gentle embrace, soothing her fragiled nerves and calming her racing heart. As she revealed her deepest fear, her fragile heart and the shame that had ravaged her spirit, Dr. Davis listened with the compassion of a guardian angel, his touch , igniting a gentle warmth that soothed her battered soul. He leaned in closer, his breathe whispering sweet nothings in her ear, his hands cradling her shoulders in a loving embrace. Lisa's desire, long suppressed, began to unfurl like a rose about to bloom, it's petal tenderly caressing the air. She took his hands, her touch sending shivers coursing through her chest, the gentle pressure unleashing a torrent of emotions. The air was alive with the promise of forever, the space between them vibrating with the sweet Melody of two hearts beating as one. She guilded his hands down to her breast. The space between them crackling with a hunger that could no longer be denied. Lisa's body was ablaze, yearning for the touch , the taste , the consuming passion that had been absent for so long. Dr. Davis stood up, his eyes locked on Lisa's, his expression a mix of longing and restraint. He disentangled himself from her embrace, his hands lingering on her shoulder for a moment before he stepped back. "let's focus on getting your mental health back on track first, Lisa" he said , his voice low and husky , his eyes burning with unspoken desire. " we can't afford to complicate things right now" . Lisa's face fell, her eyes flashing with disappointment but she nodded slowly. "you're right, she whispered, her voice barely audible. Dr. Davis's gaze held hers , his eyes filled with a deep longing but he didn't move closer. Instead he turned away, his shoulder squared, his jaw clenched in determination. As Lisa's father pulled up to the school entrance, she felt a knot form in her stomach. The familiar smile he gave her,the reassuring Pat on the back, did little to ease her nerves. The weight of his defeat hung in the air like a challenge, waiting to be hurled at her. "Hey Lisa, have a great day, okay? he said, trying to sound cheerful. Lisa nodded, her eyes scanning the crowded sidewalk. She knew what was coming as she stepped out of the car, a sea of faces turned towards her . Whispers spread like a wildfire , each one a reminder of her father's loss. Lisa's heart sank, heavy as she trudged towards the entrance. In class, the teacher's voice droned on, but Lisa's mind wandered. She couldn't shake the feeling of being trapped, of being unable to escape. The constant reminder of her father's shattered legacy. And then , the whispers grew louder, the Snickers more pronounced. Lisa's classmates began to hold up newspapers . " Dynasty Denied" "Father's fall, Daughters shame" her own face stared back,a haunting reminder of her family's down fall. The classroom erupted into chaos, with everyone looking at once. Lisa's heart raced, her mind reeling with the urge to flee. But her mind seemed rooted to the spot, unable to move as the world around her melted into chaos. Suddenly, a voice came through the noise, Sandra's voice, her friend's voice. " hey Lisa, let's go and get snacks" Sandra said coming towards her . Lisa nodded still feeling dazed, as Sandra led her out of the classroom and walked into the quieter hallway. As soon as Lisa arrived home from school, she shut the door behind her and locked herself inside. The quiet of the house enveloped her, a Stark contrast to the chaos she had faced in the classroom. She walked over to the window, staring , staring blankly out at the trees swaying gently in the breeze. Lisa's eyes began to swell up with tears as she thought about her father's loss. She walked away from the window and walked over to the bed, collapsing onto the soft blanket as she sobbed. She felt like she was releasing all the emotions she had been bottling. As the morning sun rose, casting a warm glow over the house, Dr. Davis arrived with a thoughtful gift in hand . He sat with Lisa in the study room, asking about her day with genuine concern. Lisa opened up about the challenges she faced at school, and Dr. Davis listened attentively, offering reassuring words that suited her heart. As they talked, Lisa unwrapped the gift Dr. Davis had bought, a beautiful glass cup with a heart felt message which read." You are as important as you are" she smiled, feeling a sense of comfort and validation as she held the cup in her hands. Her mind wandered back to the previous gift Dr. Davis her, it was a wrist watch that now sat on her night stand, a constant reminder of his support. As Lisa gazed at the glass cup, she felt a sense of calm wash over her. The words" you are as important as you are" resonated deep within her, countering the negative voices that once echoed in her mind since the election. Dr. Davis smiled, noticing the cup's impact." I wanted you to have something to remind you of your worth Lisa, you are so much more than your father's election or what others think of you" Lisa's eyes welled up with tears , this time they were tears of gratitude . "Thank you Dr. Davis, This means so much to me" Dr. Davis nodded his eyes filled with compassion. " Can you tell me about one place that has made you lose your grip on reality" Dr. Davis asked , his eyes locked on hers. Lisa hesistated ,then whispered. " It's the garden.....the hidden oasis. I once felt my cautioness there." Dr. Davis nodded" let's go there" He followed Lisa, to the garden where the scent of blooming flowers filled the air. Dr. Davis plucked a petal from a nearby bloom and held it out to Lisa. "Touch the flower and close your eyes" he instructed. Lisa's finger brushed against the soft petal as she closed her eyes. Dr . Davis's gentle voice guided her. "breath in and begin to see this flower as ordinary.wave off any negativity" Lisa inhaled deeply, feeling her mind quiet. she focused on the sensations of the petal, the gentle rustle of leaves and the warmth of the sun. " Now open your eyes , Lisa " Dr. Davis said" how did you feel" in a very gentle voice that made Lisa wish she would dive into his broad shoulders. Lisa's eyes fluttered open , and she was surprised to find out that her mental health didn't distract her from her reality. The garden once a symbol of her anxiety, now felt real. Dr Davis smiled" whenever you feel absorbed by shadows, close your eyes and take a deep breath.. Remember , the present is always available to you".
