Bond By A Curse

A MIDNIGHT DATE.

As decided, Amon and Lavender planned to meet at the entrance of the building. So that they can go together to the king circle garden.

Colin and Sarina were deep in their sleep, but still not to take any risk Lavender sprinkled some magic sleep powder so that they won't wakeup at least for an hour. He changed himself into his original form and got out of the room quietly.

"Hey, help me to teleport till there" Lavender said as he ran up to Amon.

Amon narrowed his eyes to look at him. "You can use your magic"

"Ah~ that old man has restricted me to use magic. And I am already using lots of magic with that restrictions,so I am really very weak right now" he said as he beautifully leaned towards his shoulder,like a fainting princess.

Amon chuckled "you are really dramatic"

"I know"

Lavender then noticed that Amon was still in his human form, as Everette.

"Why aren't you changing?" He asked curiously.

Amon sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Because unlike someone, I am not really beautiful. If someone sees me,they will be scared out of their wits. I am a devil after all, so.."

Lavender smiled embarrassedly as he understood what he was saying.

If someone was to see him, then they might just see the different ears and features or maybe no one will closely pay attention to him in this dark night. But for Amon, he really looked different.. a single glance will be enough to notice the huge frame,there are chances that someone might die out of fright.

"Come on then, let's go" Amon said as he held Lavender by his waist and turned around vanishing into the air.

They reached the garden within a second.

"Wow~ you are really strong" Lavender said wriggling his eyebrows as he touched Amon's chest, but then he frowned slightly.

"Urgh.. Mr. Everette is nothing compared to my Amon. He doesn't have any chest muscles, see ? So small shoulders" he said touching him some more.

Amon patted his hands away with a silly smile on his face. "You are too flirty" he said.

That's when Lavender noticed the slight blush on his cheeks and the increase in his heart beat.

Lavender laughed "well the only good thing is that Mr. Everette looks good when he blushes like this" he said pinching his cheeks.

"Sigh~ what is it? Is something troubling you?" Amon asked ruffling Lavender's hair.

Lavender was surprised for a second but then smiled. "Well, hehe.. yes"

They then got seated on a park bench, next to each other.

"Even I have something to tell you" Amon said looking up at the sky.

Lavender turned to his side "is it? Then you should st-"

"You first"

Lavender glared at him feeling a bit annoyed that he interrupted him. He paused for a while then taking a few deep breaths he said.

"I guess, my task is completed"

Amon was bewildered when he heard this, it took him a second to understand the meaning behind it.

"You finished it just like that? I thought it's some big task, and that's why you had to come here to personally interfere with it" he said feeling a bit curious.

Lavender frowned lightly "that's what I am thinking, it wasn't supposed to end this easily. And according to what our leader said... Its quite opposite to it. I feel that something is wrong"

He too was curious about this,he can feel that something was fishy but he couldn't exactly point it out.

There was a pin drop silence around them, as they were busy with their own thoughts and feelings. A few minutes passed just like that, not saying anything.

"You.. will have to go back?" Amon asked suddenly, a bit upset of the surprise notice.

Lavender sighed and nodded his head slightly "well, I am supposed to go back.. but I can stay if I want. At least for a while, maybe a week or two"

It made them sad that they had to part away so soon.

"Looks like the destiny doesn't want us to see each other" Amon said with a small laugh.

Lavender looked at him "well I can stay-"

"I am soon going to be engaged" Amon said cutting in between.

But this time Lavender was not annoyed at him that he interrupted him again. In fact... He was sad and shocked, or maybe something that he was not able to comprehend.

"E..engaged?"

"Yes, and I don't want to give you any false hope" Amon said. But in fact it was him who didn't want to give himself some false hope. Otherwise it would be very late to forget about their meeting.

"So you should go back, and I.. won't be able to meet you again. Even I am going to leave by tomorrow, my dad wants me to look after some things. So.."

"Amon, you don't like me?" Lavender asked as he felt hurt. Amon looked up at him and noticed that his eyes were bit watery.

'Is he crying?'

"Lavender I.."

"No, it's okay. I guess now that I am not a girl, you have different feelings towards me. I guess it was just me who was being ridiculous" he said in a low voice and with a sad smile on his face.

Amon shook his head slowly "no, I already told you.. your gender doesn't matter. But I will have to stop everything, let's just keep it a secret. We met on earth, we spent some time with each other, we were able to see again and let's just leave these memories here on earth and go back to our worlds" he said. Even though he didn't want to say any of these things but he still didn't want to look up to their future.

Lavender chuckled "but the time we spent here... It was not as Amon and Lavender, it was as Luv and Everette" he said lowering his head.

"Oh~ yesterday when I mentioned about our childhood promise of getting married... I guess that's when you remembered about it, No?" (About engagement) Lavender was still looking down at his feet as he said this.

Amon looked at the dejected expression of Lavender, he had to go through a lot as well to say these things to him. And Lavender was right,if he hadn't mentioned about it then he might have forgot about that and continued being with him.

He sighed and paused for a while, he then suddenly turned towards Lavender and cupped his face in his palms.

Lavender looked up at Amon with tears filled in his eyes, he saw that Amon too was sad.

Amon stared into the jade green eyes and moved closer to him. He took a deep breath and then without any further delay he kissed him.

Lavender was quite surprised at first,the action was too sudden but then he quickly responded to the kiss. At first the kiss was slow, but then it started getting deeper, their breathing getting heavier and messier, panting a bit.

Amon sucked on his lips and nibbled on it passionately. It seemed like he was controlling himself all these while. He touched the soft and smooth skin of Lavender's neck, drawing circles on it.

"Mm..mrng~" Lavender whimpered a bit when he felt a slight pain on the corner of his lips.

"Sorry~" Amon said as he huffed and continued inserting his tongue in his mouth trying to explore the wet caves of Lavender's mouth.

He sucked on Lavender's tongue and played with it showing his dominance. He slowly moved his hands towards Lavender's waist and gripped on it.

"Ah~ wh-" Lavender felt quite excited. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at him.

Amon was flushed, his cheeks were burning hot and was red in shade. His forehead was covered with small beads of sweat. Even though it wasn't his true form and Lavender preferred Amon over Everette,he still looked quite nice like this.

'He looks .. so beautiful' his hands subconsciously moved towards Amon's chest, and tightly held on to it.

Amon noticed that Lavender was glaring at him, and right now he looked so soft and fragile. His long ears where no longer pale in color, in fact it looked more red than the petals of red roses.

Amon licked his lips one last time and let go of him. They huffed and puffed for a while, it took quite a while to get back their oxygen.

Lavender was still trying to breathe properly as he turned to his side and looked at Amon.

"A goodbye kiss?" Lavender asked as he let out a small laugh.

Amon stayed silent neither denying it nor admitting it.

Lavender sighed "very well,so then can we date for the first and the last time?" he asked poking him on the cheeks.

Amon was baffled for a second, he gazed at Lavender "huh?"

"You are going tomorrow right? Or maybe today? It is already 12:45 so it's already the day of your departure." He said.

Amon didn't say anything and continued to listen to him.

"So let's go on a date, a midnight date"

"Lavender, I.."

"Please, just for once" Lavender pleaded holding his hands.

Amon felt guilty when he saw him requesting like this. He didn't want to agree to it but was not able to deny as well.

He nodded his head, Lavender got up from the seat feeling happy.

"Well if you are going, then I guess even I will leave by tomorrow" Lavender said looking up at the sky.

"Come on let's go"

"Where?"

"To the river"

Amon got up as well and followed Lavender. He looked at the excited person walking next to him, it didn't take him a second to realise that he was sad. And he had a hard time accepting the truth,he didn't want to accept that the reason Lavender was sad was because of him.

He looked at the jumping figure and said in his mind.

'Lavender~ sorry'
