To trip up is not the same as trip over
When George arrived home, he was surprised to see campers. “It’s Catrina who started it all,” said Charlie.
“What? How?”
Charlie showed George Catrina’s comments on TripAdvisor and f*******:; scathing but funny.
“I’m no camp-and-go sort of woman, but one look at this place and I was off quicker than a kids pop-up tent. I’d rather have my innards stapled than camp in that dump.”
“She stole my line,” muttered George. “I’ll have her.” And before his bag was unpacked, before Charlie could boil the kettle, George was striding down the road to Catrina’s cosy cottage by the canal.
