Saving the World
A Man Will Hang on the Edge of His Seat to Listen to His Hero. A Women Does It for Her Man.
Helmut made himself at home in the caravan. He stared at the ceiling and thought of her sweet smile. He had spent a delicious afternoon with Red and not only walked her home from the coffee shop but ended up in her kitchen: the Frieden de Widerstand or (pièce de résistance).
He wanted her to feel his passion of all things green and healing, and as he talked of his passion, Red listened, finally laughing . . .
“When you talk of saving the world,” said Red, “it sounds feasible; when Toby talks of it, it sounds like a childish dream.”
“Toby?” said Helmut.
“Don’t know where he gets it from, all this Greenpeace saving-the-world stuff,” said Red.
