The Dressing-Down
Life Is Never the Same Once You Catch Your Mother Out.
By the time Alisa’s mother arrived to pick up Alisa and Ella, Lucinda was giving Alisa a dressing-down, and Alisa was rising to the occasion like a politician on news night while her pal was doing her best to be invisible.
“The sound effects are meant to fit in with my pole dancing and not the other way around,” said Lucinda.
“It’s only a five-minute dance, hardly that important,” said Alisa.
Ella quietly slid her glockenspiel sticks into their case.
“Well the postman says those five minutes are pivotal,” snapped Lucinda.
“And he would know, wouldn’t he?” said Alisa.
