With a keen eye on his carbon footprint and no driver’s license, Helmut caught the bus. Helmut was last in the queue, and the only seat left was in the front next to Madge, a large granny-like woman with a day’s shopping piled on the spare seat. With a grunt and glare, she emptied the seat and returned to her mobile, ignoring Helmut’s thank-you.
