After dinner, Edmond had Tresa follow him into his study. Tresa was taken back how large the study was. It had the same dark walls but was lined with bookshelves as well. A large window sat behind Edmond's desk which allowed for light to come in and a beautiful view of the sea could be seen.
Tresa noticed a small desk tucked away in the corner. It seemed out of place among the other things. The desk was feminine and dainty. Pastel flowers were painted on the side of the light wood. She turned her attention back to Edmond, who cleared his throat as he grabbed a piece of parchment from his desk and turned back around towards Tresa.
