Tresa rushed from bed. She was flustered that she had slept so long. She had not realized how tired she actually was. She grabbed one of the dresses from the cupboard and put it on. She checked in the full-length mirror to see if her appearance would pass for dinner. She quickly pinched her cheeks to bring back some color and walked to the door. When she opened the door, she saw Edmond standing right outside of it. He looked handsome in his dinner attire. Edmond kept his hair rugged while at his manor, but here, he made sure to have it brushed from his face. His features were sharp and masculine.
