WITH RHETTA’S INTIMATE knowledge of Crutchfield County’s back roads and farm lanes, aided by her disregard for traffic laws and passenger comfort, she had her Scout positioned at a roadside overlook with a commanding view of the Cow Pen covert before the hunting field arrived there.
