Chapter 18 JANEY MUSGROVE WAITED in line at her bank in Fairfax, close to the George Mason University campus. She’d been in this branch many times but she’d never bothered to pay much attention to the décor. This morning, though, she noticed that the walls were decorated with prints similar to those in the hotel—classic foxhunting scenes. Each image depicted men in scarlet coats, wearing top hats and sporting bushy side-whiskers. Ladies in elegant sidesaddle attire looked demure but in control of their well-muscled Thoroughbreds. In some prints hounds gathered around the huntsman’s horse with the field of riders arrayed in a circle about them.
