The group stumbles through a realm where the laws of reality have become as unstable as the ground beneath their feet. Time no longer flows linearly, and the world seems to bend and twist with every step they take. One moment, the sun is high in the sky, casting its warm light over them, the next, they’re enveloped in an unnatural darkness, the sky above them swirling with ominous clouds. Gravity shifts unexpectedly, pulling them in different directions, forcing them to fight to maintain their balance. Each step feels disorienting, as if the very earth beneath them is uncertain of where it stands.
The air itself seems heavy, thick with an unknown energy that rattles their nerves, making their breaths feel shallow, their senses heightened.
As they move deeper into the dimension, Julian begins experiencing strange, fragmented visions. He catches fleeting glimpses of himself in unfamiliar settings—an unfamiliar past life, or perhaps an alternate version of himself. In one vision, he stands before a massive, glowing structure, the System’s power flowing through his veins, filling him with an unfamiliar strength. In another, he watches a young child, his own face mirrored in the innocent eyes of someone he’s never met.
The visions grow increasingly vivid, and Julian struggles to discern what is real and what is merely part of the fractured reality that surrounds them.
Lila, sensing that something is off with Julian, becomes increasingly distrustful. Her suspicions lead to tension between her and Julian, and it all culminates in an explosive confrontation.
“You’re not telling us everything, Julian,” she accuses, her eyes narrowing, her voice sharp with frustration as she studies him intently. “What aren’t you saying about this place, about you?”
Nathan and Elena, meanwhile, are not as quick to judge, though they, too, feel the strain of the unstable world around them. The time loops cause them to experience the same moments repeatedly, disorienting them, deepening their unease. Their reality is fractured just like the dimension they find themselves in, and they begin to question how much longer they can hold it all together.
