The King’s Room

Fung got a puzzle from Judge Bao about the past dynasty. “It’s a puzzle about the dynasty history, so weird. I can’t do it alone, I need help.”

     Nicholas was ready to find the history from the book literature, “The question about the Qin, Qin begins in 538 Lunar. You should write the family tree first, I mean draw it. The first should be Qin Shang, the founder first at 512. There’s an ambiguity, the dynasty begins at 20 years before the history. I think about the revolution happens at Shaolin era, the culture expansion between East and West! What about the Westernization, it happens at 528 Lunar?”

     Flower tried to guide them, “The revolution begins at 528, during the era of Zhao and Qin. Zhao first takes place as an enemy for Qin, but then a marital heritage united them. Find at the literature, you can search the history! That’s the King, Qin Shang married with Xiang Lin. How can an enemy become a brotherhood, so strange siblings?” Fung wrote down the answer, “Qin Shang was a fool King, married with someone from Zhao. Wait still ambiguity, about the crash next through the Zhao in culture Shaolin era expansion!”

       Nicholas finished the last question of the puzzle. “What happens after this puzzle solved, a disaster again? What’s it called, an earthquake suddenly? I feel the epicenter resonance, like in the depth Earth. So badly happens, I stuck in here from the above table!” Fung dig a hole, “Can you go here, we can protect us from Earthquake at the below soil?”

       A man with spiky hair nearly 48 years old named Tsao Man, the King from Qin, appeared with his metal sword, “Who dare to awake me up, please show your nostril? I’m Cao Man, the greatest King from Shaolin past years! You can call me as Cao or Tsao, it’s similar. Why you hide from me, am I scare you off? Come, let’s battle with me!”

     Nicholas attacked Cao Man with a broom, “Go away, you bad ghost! Don’t you know me, Nicholas Tse, a well known actor? I’m from the modern era in HK, I take a role too as Cao Man in Shaolin movie. You wanna hurt my cousin, Fung, so terrible. Hey, wait a second, don’t you have a similar face with me?”

    Cao Man reacted so sharply with Nicholas, “Are we twin, why your face similar to me? It’s Flower stand up behind you, so similar to me too. What kind of clone, you clone my face? Oo, Ok, I understand now, we’re twins. Let’s see how you can face the war, come on, fight with me!”

     Cao Man seek for Fung’s strength ability in war. “What can I do for you, just I wanna see at your ability? You should play at once, by your sword. Pretend you’re not faraway from the line, so you can stand on your side. You’re locked in a cage, I gotta see your strength. Nearly so fast, but you need to practice a lot.”

     Nicholas stared at the battle while eating popcorn. “It’s like in cinema, Cao Man vs Huo Jie. Don’t you know, buddy, Huo Jie’s a monk after being the general? Come on, kick Cao Man now, buddy! I can see from faraway, I just eat the popcorn I brought from home!”

      Fung couldn’t concentrate well at the popcorn smell, “Bastard you, you can’t help me now! I feel so horrible now, you just sit and eat popcorn, friend! You’re just a bitter partner, ouwh, grr, so freak, buddy!”

    Cao Man taught Fung to ease his skill in sword battle. “One from you, first take a step! Then, second, take the breath before starting!”

    Fung couldn’t control his agility, “Wow, what’s called a jutsu, amazing one. Weeii, I getcha fall through the floor, help me with this step. What’s kind of jutsu is, like a ninja? Whoa, I gonna fall onto the floor, I getcha break my leg. I feel so pain, with my legs. Help me, don’t let me down! What can I do to control my step, the floor’s slippery?”

   Flower helped Fung with holding his body. “You can control your step with emotion, gently playing at the step. Never give up, you must save your dear by your own hands! Soon, you gotta face the King by yourself, if you don’t ready, you can die soon! Who’s the Emperor, we can still reach the history began? What do you think now, you should practice lots? Can you do it for a while, just for your own help? We just can accompany you, but later on, we can’t help you much. You gonna walk in slippery road, like in this stage! You should control yourself, you can’t take much emotion!”

   Luckas spirit him up. “Uncle can do it easily, walking at the slippery road, with ice skating. I gonna help you, with skating shoes. The knife so sharp, don’t worry about the road so slippery.”

      Fung found the difficult puzzle from Cao Man. “It’s called Jumanji, a snake ladder game. I usually play it with Mei, so funny. You can determine what kind of animals, so you can guess the event! I call it camouflage game, like a chamelleon. Raise the dice first, then mix the second! Hold the sign after you reach the steps, so you getcha find the information. Parampa, I can guess it, a gate to Qin! I don’t know the history, I can search from the book. Where’s the book, in the library? I gonna read it first, then answer the question. What’s called by the Qin, a merry old dynasty? The youngest dynasty was Ming, the oldest Qin. Hahaha, I guess it, gapping through 500 years!” Cao Man stuck out his stick, “What do you guess, so wrong? You just play the guess, not researching. Why don’t you have a time for brainstorm, at the library?”

    Fung spent his time at library. “Is it call a reading time, for me? Uh, so bored, reading and searching? I must find Mei, at my destination first! I gonna go either yes or no, that’s the question.”

      Flower guided Fung. “Why don’t you read about Qin’s life, there’s a history about Han people? The answer comes from Han, at the gap of 10 years! Han’s the founder ethnic to Qin and Zhao, influences most of China land.”

      Fung put the first answer. “The gap’s only 10 years, you’re so scary. You don’t stare at me sharply, I feel so doubt. Can we talk about the ruthless Zhao then, for the puzzle? It can unbox the secret of Qin and Zhao, through the China mainland. Is you from Zhao, why living in Qin? You trait your country, by defending the truth.”

   Flower gave the next clue. “I know more about Qin, Qin led by Shang Qi. The legend of the ten rings began here, as the avatar raises! There are 4 elements, soil, fire, air, and water. Qin comes from the soil ring, but Zhao from fire. The elements balanced by Yin Yang, a symbol to life and death.”

   Fung finished the hardest puzzle from Cao Man. “It’s finished, but the next faces the evil spirits. They’re from Qin, so weird! I can’t believe, I’ve trapped by the spirits here. I’m a human, but turning the death into life! It’s God done, not me.”

    Luckas heard a sound of knocking tok-tok. “Hmph, a sound of knocking, comes from the door! The first door of this room, and also the front gate!”
