Chapter 14 SacrificeRollin, Willow, Penn and Aurora rode southeast toward their home in Midpeak. The Orc war was over. The people of the Western realms could now focus on the task of rebuilding their lives. It would not be an easy task. But inhabitants of the Western Realms were familiar with hardship.
Rollin was viewed as the ‘Hero of Winterrock.’ Songweavers would tell stories and sing tales of his epic battle with Dregu and how Rollin had saved everyone by bringing the monster down and crushing the Orc invasion.
Rollin chose to turn down the leader position of the Knights of the Rose. He no longer felt the need to be a knight. He was comfortable with the moniker of Black Paladin and wanted to focus on Willow, his one true love, and helping the people of Midpeak.
