BECOMING THE WEILDER OF THE TEZRA

An hour and a half passes by, the convulsing trembling body of Tony gradually subsides allowing the professor and Jasma to grab hold of him and place him on a long cushioned sit, seeing that Tony is not dead but unconscious they get warm blankets and cover his cold body near the fire place. As evening starts to set in, Jasma quickly answers some of her friends on her phone telling them she was spending the evening with her father, she switches her phone off standing beside the window watching Tony, the professor rush’s into the office holding some takeaway food for he and Jasma, both observing Tony and sitting on the other chairs she leans down a bit closer to him staring at his body as she speaks in a low cold tone
“I can’t believe this”
“Can’t believe what? That it could be him?” asked the professor
“Yes, am shocked by this, it’s not how the linking process occurs”
“How does it occur?”
“He was supposed to be channeling it to open a portal directly right here but it just went into him” Jasma says feeling awe disbelief.
Calmly Tony moves his head to face them with blurry eyes, Jasma and the professor quickly sprawls towards him as he gently sat up sweating and feeling all too exhausted, As they sit with him they all notice a sudden quietness which makes the room too uncomfortable, Tony keeps the blankets down and carries a bottle of water drinking heavily due to excessive dehydration, he notices the other two watching him closely as if he were some discovery; getting strong enough now to move he faces them with confused exhaustion asking
“Wont any of you explain what the hell just happened to me?”
“We can’t” Jasma replies looking at the professor
“what do you mean you can’t?”, Tony pressures beginning to feel a nerve of anger rise in him, “I just got struck with something dark like a voodoo and your telling me there’s no explanation for it”
“It’s because we don’t understand it neither what just happened” the professor defended feeling unsure of what Tony would likely do
Jasma stands up and stares at the professor for certainty of what she was about to say then she turns back at Tony
“Am not from this world” she utters staring completely emotionless at Tony
“What do you mean you’re not from this world, you mean your some kind of alien?” Tony asks feeling a tiny bit of fright and anxious shock
“Yes” she replies unflinchingly at Tony
“And you too professor?”
“No Tony, am human and she’s right, she’s not from around here” defended the professor
“But how is she your daughter”
“She’s not” murmurs the professor
“What!” Tony exclaims with disbelief “so you’re telling me some alien freakish thing just suddenly got hold of me?”
Quickly the door opens and Hareena walks in holding her files and speaking on phone not noticing the three individuals sited in the office as she spoke on the phone
“Yes Jenny I am going to call you, my dad was meant to meet me for…….” She raise her head seeing the three staring at her before she concludes her speech “lunch, let me call you back”
She switch’s off her phone and keeps her files on the table standing with arms folded staring curiously at them
“What’s going on?” she enquires staring at her father
“You should sit down” the professor replies
Angry now Jasma stands up walking to Tony almost aggressively
“It’s time to open the portal” she scowls
“Wait, what portal?” Toni’s face brightens with confusion
“Come on wait Jasma not now we need to understand this” quickly the professor says holding Jasma
“Understand what?” asked Hareena curiously.
“Enough!” Jasma yells releasing a powerful energy that scatters and knocks all of them down to the ground unconscious. A moment later Tony, Hareena and the professor wake up seeing themselves all tied up close to each other, confused the professor snarls at Jasma
“What is this?”
“You made a promise to me, your oath was never kept Martin” she replies as she carries a long ancient sword she found in the professors office, she walks straight to Tony kneeling beside him as she glares through his eyes, Hareena tries to set herself loose from the rope, Jasma stares at her with a half-smile.
“What do you think you’re doing Jasma?” snarled Hareena
“Well dear half-sister oh! I forgot we are not sisters” smirked Jasma as she looks at her father in amusement.
“I don’t understand. What do you mean we not sisters, father what is she talking about?” Hareena with a brightened face of shock turns to her father whose eyes were bright with signs of tears; he brings his head down in disappointment and stares at his daughter with a saddened face.
“Do you remember how I was after your mother died of chronic cancer?” asked the professor
“Yes, you were distant and barely home with me, always on your expeditions” Hareena says staring at him feeling obnoxious
“I was in Africa thirteen years ago and my students got killed on a discovery we had made”
“What discovery?” Hareena asks
“Her” he replies staring at Jasma, Hareena turns to Jasma who shrugs her shoulder with a glaring smile before he continues to speak to his daughter
“She was there in her ship which killed my students, I promised to help her get back home using the tablet of Tezra”
“And that’s where you come in Tony,” Jasma interrupts the professor standing up walking towards him, “which unfortunately I wasn’t expecting you to be chosen by the Tezra but since you are, you have to take me back home by opening the portal to my world”
“I can’t” snapped Tony angrily still struggling to get loose
“Well if you can’t take me home you are going to watch the professor and your secret admirer die right here and right now” she threatens holding the sword towards Hareena who’s eyes meets Toni's with unbelieving fear and disappointment, she raises her face to Jasma staring bleakly with rage
“You two lied to me right from the beginning and now this, now you want to kill us” Hareena says with anger
“Mm…yes!” Jasma exclaims
“I never really knew you Jasma, but this is wrong, let’s work this out otherwise this will make you evil” Tony glowered
“I am a Princess of my world Tony, you don’t get to tell me if am evil or not, I will do whatever it takes to get back home” Jasma snarls
“Even killing the one person who protected you from our world all these years right under our noses” continued Tony, she stares at the professor and Hareena, gives them a wicked smile and turns to Tony saying
“Yes, even he”
She aims the sword to strike her adoptive father, Tony quickly tells Hareena to look at him, frightened and helpless she stares at her father, who was pleading to Jasma to let them live and work things out.
Raising the sword ready to strike stopping midair to Tony saying
“You have the Tezra now Tony, you I need, them not so much” quickly with a blast of blinding light emitting from Toni’s body releasing an emerald light of the Tezra blinding Jasma. He and Hareena disappear from the office; Jasma lowers her right arm down still holding the blade, she realizes Tony is gone, only she and the professor remain, angry now she grabs him by the throat agitated as she yelled
“Where is he, where did he go?”
“I don’t know” the professor exclaimed she flings him on the three sitters and yells in anger.
Two school security men in sky blue shirts and black trousers rush in opening the office door, she dashes towards them slashing the blade at them by the chest and lower abdomen, turning to face the professor now she smiles devilishly saying
“I don’t know what Tony will do, but your daughter will come for you and when she does, I will make her tell me where Tony is” she threatens as she walks to the professor who was already scared for his daughter’s life.
