JOURNEY THROUGH THE FOREST

Waking up all dazed and sour from the crash Tony and Hareena feel a bit terrified at the sudden realization of their surroundings, Edward wearily stands up feeling the cold breeze of the new world, all unsure of where they were or what to do, they all stand breathing hard to the new air which was thick with a slight fog moving round them.

“Guys, look at this place” Jenny says staring at the alien trees that are grayish brown with leaves all large and spiral branches her face pale and amazed at  the alien bio life, the water looked white and green, looking round for any road way Tony grabs Hareena with a disappointed look as he inquires

“What were you thinking?”

“I did what I thought was necessary” replied Hareena forcefully taking her hands away from him, Edward walks to them trying to calm Tony down

“We oath to tread carefully here, this is not our world, the best chance of survival now is if we work together” Edward tries to make them realize the importance of not fighting in a hostile world.

Thinking of a few tricks on survival Jenny unbuttons her lower shirt and ties it folding her sleeve, the rest stare in awe as she grins trying to be amusing about what she was doing” well don’t just stand there and stare at me, let’s get our survival games on”,

Hareena smiles with Edward and Tony as they all make themselves ready for a fight or better still a good run, Tony stares at Hareena as she ties the dagger to her feet with a cloth she tore from her hand thinking how she had a crush on him for a long time and he didn’t even know, she notices as he quickly turns his head away feeling uncomfortable, she almost smiles as she ties her hair asking

“Do you think my father will be safe with them?”

“Sahilliyah yes, Jasma not so much, best chance we find them first” replied Tony as he looks round for an easy quick road to follow, stepping down to drink from the flowing  water Edward almost tries to stop him but it’s too late

“You could get sick from this Tony!” he exclaims

“I have the Tezra, I doubt, besides let me be the first to experience Zendaliion water” he stands acting as if his having a bad stomach ache, his friends start feeling a slight fear, then he laughs breathing out the gas as he turns to them “I think this water is almost the best thing I have ever tasted”, staring meekly the rest also take sips and also release the gas, they start to laugh and make their way down to the lower stream hoping to meet up with Sahilliyah in this unknown world they found themselves.

         Sitting down beside a large rock trying to gain her energy and staring at the body of the professor still unconscious, she draws a blade with the thought of ending him there, thinking of the possibility of his usefulness to her she decides not to harm him, rather she puts him on the stretcher, uses her levitation ability and makes him float up to the air, she motions him to move towards the direction of the palace, as he disappears into the sky she turns staring at the bottom of the cliff seeing no sign of Tony or her sister, she suddenly hears footsteps approach her from behind, turning quickly she sees three cannibal like barbarians all wearing animal skin with bones for armor, staring hungrily at her but unsure if to attack her or not they turn to each other speaking in tribal languages, she stares at their bone staffs knowing her ability won’t work on them she draws her blade looking at the biggest amongst them ready to strike

“Come on then, what are you waiting for”

Immediately the big hairy one amongst them dashes at her with a killing strike, she moves away quickly dodging the spear, she stabs him on the back, kicking him hard as he falls over the cliff to his death, turning to the frightened two she yells

“I am your Princess fools, Jasma Neroy of Zendaliion, the wielder of the Tezra”,

 Hearing the word Tezra, the barbarians quickly bow to her with respect, placing her blade back with a smile of pride speaking their language

“Take me to your chief”

 Immediately they stand up leading her away to their village.

  Deep into the forest wild, the lost humans keep walking briskly  reaching down a lower stream falling calmly, slowly stepping in to forest, looking at the bizarre trees and plants the four friends wonder what sort of creatures to expect in an unknown world slowly Hareena reaches Tony making sure Edward and Jenny wouldn’t hear her she asks

“What were you thinking back up there”, Tony smiles looking down, he shrugs his shoulders feeling a bit unease, and he turns to Hareena as he replied

“It’s nothing”, she glanced at him gazing at his worried eyes, and she sighs a bit uncomfortable herself as she continues “I know you know”,

Quickly he turns to her looking confused at her with inquisitive eyes

“Know what?” asked Tony as Edward and Jenny walk passed them talking on their own,

“About how I feel about you”, Hareena replies staring at him for any sign he might feel the same way, he stops looking at her then he turns hurrying past her and Edward and Jenny, she stops in confused disappointment and continues knowing he didn’t feel the same, as they reached an open field what they saw made them paralyzed almost for a moment.

      What stood before them was an alien like rhinos grazing at the grass, its skin was thick and its horn was longer than the average rhino they knew back on earth, it looked six feet in height and eight feet long weighing almost three tons, the animal turned with its red eyes towards them displaying wounds and spears from hunters in the area, angry now it breaths out heavy dust at the four humans, terrified Hareena utters to the three

“We got our survival skills on right?”

“Look at the size of this” said Edward in shocking disbelief

Quickly it growls revealing jagged sharp teeth even for a grazing animal, the four swallow their saliva’s hard, it calls on its others who immediately appear from the valley, the  four see what seems to be the alpha, a two time in size beast with thicker skin and bigger body mass, it looked like a bulldozer with hairy red eyes, not thinking twice the four make a run for it back into the forest they came from, the animals follow in pursuit with so much speed and aggression, Jenny yells with fear as Edward holds her hand directing her where to follow as they ran, Hareena follows shouting

“Can’t you use the Tezra or something?” she yells to Tony who jumps over a fallen log turning to see how much smashing the beasts where doing to the trees, he shouts back gasping

“Am working on that”

“Better hurry or we are going to be mashed mellows soon!” Edward yells

  They reach a huge unbreakable tree Tony grabs Edward and Jenny feeling a surge of unknown strength in him, he throws them over to the top of the three the grab the branches for support, immediately he gets hit by one of the beasts which only stuns him but no bruise or bone cracking, seeing the unbelievable creature his friends gasp in shock, the alpha beast more angered now tries smashing the tree to make Edward and Jenny fall but it they firmly grab unto the branches not letting go, it turns its attention to Hareena who was trying to climb another huge tree.

The other beasts slowdown allowing the alpha to make this kill running towards them its aim heading straight for Hareena she realizes she can’t make it on time, turning her back on the tree she freezes waiting for her death, immediately before the beast hits her Tony jumps in front of her holding covering her with his back facing the beast, it hits Tony but only the green emerald light of the tezra keeps getting released acting as a shield, after six attempts the beast turns running back with each repeated failure seeing no effect of the blows on Tony, the other beasts join but to no avail, Hareena stares at Toni’s eyes as they glowed with green energy, she turns to Edward and Jenny who were just perplexed at the unbelievable sight, tired now the beasts turn to retreat, slowly Tony releases Hareena and turns to watch them head back to graze, just as he tries to catch Jenny from jumping down the alpha beast suddenly reappears hitting him hard on the belly, he falls hard to the ground gasping at the stunning blow from this huge creature, turning its glaring eyes and attention to Hareena it moves close to her growling, weakened  and unable to stand Tony lies in pain, Jenny screams for Hareena’s safety, but something incredible happens, unknowingly Hareena kneels to her knees raising her arms up, the beast stops to growl bowing its head in return it turns away returning to the herd, growling at Tony it wiggles its tail out of triumphant victory walking majestically away. Grinning painfully he stands staring at Hareena with a tired breath holding on to his belly he catches Edward and Jenny who jumped down from the tree,

“Are you hurt?” Hareena asks with concern opening his belly seeing as his bruise healed,

“Am fine” Tony replies turning to Edward who gasps shaking his head” couldn’t we have just done that from the beginning?”

“I guess it’s something we learn from this world, respect!” Jenny says looking round for any more surprises.

 Hareena holds Tony as they change directions to another path away from the wild beasts, she stops Tony and hugs him, he asks with a side smile” what’s that for?”

“for saving my life and also for saving yours” she says hitting him calmly on the shoulders as she turns to walk away, he tries to hold  her hand which she notices, turning to look at him he almost stammers” about what you said earlier”

“It’s okay Tony, I understand you don’t feel the same way besides, I don’t handle heartache well” she quickly turns heading to Jenny as they walked away from the men. Staring at Tony, Edward taps his shoulder as he whispers ‘she will come around Tony, just don’t give up on her”

“I know” said Tony who suddenly gets a sharp blue feathered needle on his neck, turning sharply his friends also get stung with blue feathered needles, all falling unconsciously they see with blurry eyes cannibal barbarians appear from the woods  surrounding them and shouting happily in their tribal language in what sounded like “meat!”

Edward sighs almost before closing his eyes whispering to his friends

“Oh s**t! We are screwed”.
