Olivia’s fangs gleamed in the sunlight, her face drenched in blood from draining the captain. Her eyes locked onto Amara’s with a ferocity that made Amara’s heart race, but before she could react, Olivia froze. She hovered there for a moment, her breath ragged, her body tense as if she were battling something within herself. Amara stood frozen, fear pinning her in place. The world felt like it had stopped, her entire being consumed by the sight of Olivia, someone she once thought of as a sister, now twisted in this monstrous form.
