40 Turner heard the shout from the garage’s office but ignored it, he was on his back under a car, and almost finished securing the part he was fitting. Whoever was on the phone could either wait or call back. “James.” This time the voice came from by his feet. “I think you should take the call, James,” Karol said, bending to look under the car. “It’s Chester Greenwich.” Turner was surprised enough to abandon what he was doing and slide out from under the car. “Gimme the phone,” he ordered his brother-in-law when he could see more than just his legs. “What?” His voice was just as abrupt when he spoke to his solicitor, but after reminding himself that even during office hours Greenwich wouldn’t call him without a good reason he took a deep breath to calm himself. “What’s the problem?
