CHAPTER 5In the silence after Jasper kissed her hand Abby didn't know quite what to say. She tried to keep any sort of reaction off her face. It wasn't that she didn't like the surprise, but her reaction to the feel of his lips on her hand surprised her. She reached out and touched the box of comics. On impulse, she grabbed the handle and pulled the cardboard box off the shelf. It was heavier than she expected and she nearly dropped it.
"I'll take this one back to the store to get started on the inventory. Tomorrow I'll have my guys come over with the van and pick up more."
"You won't be coming over?" Jasper asked.
"I've got a business to run. Don't worry, my guys worship comics. They'll take good care of them."
