Sandra “That's not likely to happen, but thank you so much for the option.” The girl sounds genuinely grateful, and she takes the card, giving Rico one last glance before scurrying off into the crowd. As she leaves, he watches after her for a moment, his expression concerned as his brows draw together. He seems to be wrestling internally with himself, and I have no doubt that he's still debating whether or not he should shut down the green room. But whatever thoughts are going through his head, he doesn't seem to make a final decision when he turns and catches sight of me. A slight smile crosses his lips until his gaze strays to Hunter at my side. I can see doors slamming shut behind his eyes and wonder what I did wrong. Maybe he's upset that I took a day off to go to my sister's grave
