LAYLA'S POV I had spent half of my night planning excape plans that are impossible, yet I clung to them because there was nothing else to cling to. Unlike all others I had remained awake, sick with worry. If only I had a wolf, at least one of my plans would work. But then even if I got free where would I run to? I have nowhere to call home. Not anymore anyway. Mia is snoring loudly in what appears to be a very peaceful sleep besides me. I wonder how she can do that. She never looks as scared as the rest of us.
